Privacy Policy for Registered Users
QR-Help stores four types of data. In the following table, we have listed the data we collect in relation to the user group of the registered users. Please note that different regulations apply to first responders (Rescue page users) as well as to website users. If this user group does not suit you, please select another one here.

Emergency Information
What data is collected?
- Data provided by the user
What is the reason for the data collection?
- Assist first responders during rescue by showing the emergency information
Who gets access to the data?
- User
- Each person scanning the personal QR code
- Each person entering the personal rescue code in the input field on the QR-Help website
When will the data be deleted?
- Upon request by the user
- After 2 years of inactivity and 2 years of inactive subscription
- After deletion, the data resides on backup systems for 30 days
Server Logs
What data is collected?
- Page URLs
- Page status
- Date & Time
- IP address
- Other technical data
What is the reason for the data collection?
- Respond to attacks on the infrastructure
- Find system bugs (errors)
Who gets access to the data?
- QR-Help staff
When will the data be deleted?
- Within the legal deadlines
Tracking Data
What data is collected?
- IP address (anonymised)
- Metadata (date, time)
- Selected Language
- Page URLs
- Information about the browser and operating system ('User-Agent')
- Correlations between different page requests
What is the reason for the data collection?
- Inform the QR-Help staff about the system usage
How is the data processed?
- The data is anonymised
- Then, it is stored and statistically analysed
- The tracking data is not combined with data gathered for other users. In particular, no link between tracking data and data given by the user is made.

- QR-Help staff
When will the data be deleted?
- Never
Further Information
At all time, you can delete your user account in your user panel. Use the dedicated function to do so. Deleting your user account will delete all identifiable information that we possess about you. This includes your contact data, as well as your emergency information.
Please note that we are legally obliged to save a copy of all invoices (including your name, address and ordered products) during a legal period as fixed in the Luxembourgish legislation.
User accounts are also automatically deleted after 2 years of inactivity and 2 years of inactive subscription.
After the account deletion, all data may reside on secured backup systems for a number of days and gets then automatically deleted.
